Over the years, our team has built and maintained several mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms. Like many development teams, we appreciated the ability to share code across Android and iOS while staying within the .NET ecosystem. The framework helped us deliver reliable applications that continue to support businesses and users every day.

When Microsoft announced the end of support for Xamarin.Forms, we started evaluating the best path forward. Rather than waiting for future compatibility challenges, we chose to proactively modernise our clients' applications and begin migrating production projects to .NET MAUI.

One thing became clear very quickly. Migrating to .NET MAUI wasn't simply a framework upgrade. Every application had its own history, custom functionality, third-party integrations, and business requirements that needed careful planning and practical engineering decisions.
